I did a LOT of 2 stroke dirtbike tuning using the "plug chop" method over the years and have found that four strokes are a little more tricky to read plugs on then back in my 2 stroke days (perhaps the two stroke oil burn created a much easier detected light tan color than 4 strokes - IMHO)..
